Derek Hood
Derek served a City & Guilds apprenticeship at St Andrews University Library and then studied bookbinding at Napier College in Edinburgh. Following a career as a professional musician for 10 years, he returned to bookbinding in 1999. His books are held in private and public collections worldwide. He now runs his own bindery in Bath and is a Fellow of DB.
