Lester Capon trained at Camberwell School of Art and Crafts from 1975-77 and worked with James Brockman from 1977-93 on everything from medieval manuscripts and early printed books to private press editions. He ran the Fine Bookbinding & Conservation course at Guildford College from 1993-2000 and has since been self-employed. Collections: British Library; HRHRC Texas; John Rylands University Library, Manchester; Liverpool Library and private collections in the UK and abroad. Elected a Fellow of DB in 1986. President of DB from 2003-05 and current President.
