Kyffin - A Celebration
DB Fellows and Licentiates Touring Exhibition
2008

Twenty-one Fellows and nine Licentiates have been involved in this ambitious
project, binding copies of a commemorative book of essays and memoirs
celebrating
the distinguished Welsh artist Sir Kyffin Williams, who died in 2006.
The book was produced by Gwasg Gregynog, who enjoyed a special relationship
with Sir Kyffin, and includes a Foreword by HRH The Prince of Wales who
was also a friend of the artist. It is illustrated with a selection of
the artist's linocuts printed directly from the original blocks, including
some unpublished works. The exhibition will be on tour from June to November,
accompanied by a beautiful 64-page full colour catalogue.
Everyone is
very welcome to attend any of the openings.
All the bindings in the
exhibition are for sale. There is one ‘Group
Lot’ of thirteen Fellows’ bindings which will be sold
to the highest bidder, to be announced at 4pm on 1st September. The
remaining
thirty-seven bindings
will be sold individually. Further details on prices and sales procedure
are available from Jeanette Koch: jeanettekoch@arnoreinfrank.de
The catalogue for this exhibition is now available
to buy at our online shop.
